1:1 Sessions

I offer personalized, one-on-one private somatic movement and healing sessions rooted in nervous system regulation, embodied anatomy, body-mind centering, and the cultivation of agency. These sessions can support a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, chronic pain, stress, limited range of motion, digestion and respiratory issues, disruptive postural imbalances, previous injuries or trauma, emotional regulation, and feelings of disconnection.

They can also be beneficial for those seeking to deepen self-awareness, rebuild trust with their bodies, or integrate emotional or energetic experiences through movement and embodied presence. This is a collaborative, body-based practice guided by curiosity and compassion. We work with your body, not on it, honoring your lived experience as an active and essential part of the process.

For new clients, I offer a complimentary 15-minute discovery call prior to our first session. This call also helps to maximize our in-person time together. During intake, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and reflect on your physical, emotional, and energetic wellbeing. You’re invited to share whatever feels comfortable, including your needs, boundaries, and intentions for our work together.

This work asks for patience. Slowness supports safety and integration.

When we move without urgency, the nervous system has space to settle, and the body can respond in its own time. This pace allows us to attune to subtle shifts—sensations, emotions, and energies that can guide us toward greater awareness. In this spaciousness, integration becomes possible, and insight and transformation can unfold.

You may leave a session with more questions than you came in with. This isn’t a setback, but rather a sign that space is opening in the body and mind for deeper inquiry.  While I don’t offer definitive answers, I support you in cultivating awareness of your innate somatic intelligence.

Offerings:

Attuned Bodywork A session focused on deep relaxation and somatic inquiry to support regulation and integration across physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. Light touch, such as gentle pressure, brushing, or tapping, may be used to engage the nervous system and encourage embodied awareness. This work is responsive to your unique needs and experience. You are welcome to set an intention for this work, or simply use the time to relax. A common, more immediate outcome of this bodywork is reduced stress and increased insight into your body’s language and habitual patterns.

Trauma-informed Yoga A gentle approach to yoga that centers accessibility, comfort, and self-regulation. We will practice asana (postures), pranayama (breath), mudras (gestures), bandhas (locks), and meditation. Move slowly and build a deeper relationship with your mind, body, and spirit. We can explore mat yoga, chair yoga, or a combination of both, and use of props for support. Trauma-informed yoga is for all experience levels. We focus on presence rather than performance. Sequences support the flow of a balanced nervous system.

Somatic Breathflow Breathwork for nervous system regulation, and overall wellbeing, that focuses on the relationship between the ribcage, lungs, diaphragm and pelvis, as well as other areas of the body. Through guided exploration, you can learn how the way you breathe impacts your movement (and vice versa) in our work together and in the world. Somatic breathflow is also supportive for long-COVID, current and former smokers, and anyone wanting to improve their breathing habits. Breath is life!

Neuromyofascia Repatterning Through somatic awareness and micromovements of the muscle and fascia, we will facilitate shifts in your body’s softer structures, interrupt habitual patterns, restore your natural balance and strengthen your mind-body connection. Fascia is the connective tissue and perceptual organ that links and flows through all of our muscles, bones, nerves, and organs. As humans, we all have holding patterns, be they emotional or physical, that have developed overtime and impact the way we move, feel, and sense. This process aims to interrupt those patterns through small but powerful movements and subtle manipulation of the myofascia.

Booking and Cancellation:

All bookings are held with a small deposit of $40-50 depending on the location and duration of appointment. Your deposit goes toward the total cost of the session.

Important: If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask that you please do so prior to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.  Cancellations that occur with less than 24 hours notice will unfortunately not be able to receive the deposit back, and the same goes for rescheduling.  This is not my personal policy but the policy of the small businesses that I rent time and space from. Same day reschedules are treated as late cancellations. Thank you for understanding.

If you are running late to your appointment, we will work with the time remaining.

Deposits can be paid via Venmo (preferred), Zelle, CashApp, or PayPal. I accept both cash and electronic payments for the remaining session cost. Gratuity is never required or expected, but of course welcome :-)

If you are a bodyworker interested in a trade, please reach out! I love to trade with massage therapists, tattoo artists, acupuncturists, and other providers.
